Status: Recording/ Documenting New Sounds

Inspired by Foley – the reproduction of everyday sound through the use of unconventional materials used in filmmaking, Inhabited Silence looks into the fictionalization of our environment through the narratives of sound. Based on environmental audio samples, the work imitates the ambience and sound gestures of nature through the alteration/ interaction of everyday objects in the attempt to domesticate what we deem as noise in our urban city.
