The mimosa plant stems back to our childhood for the most of us and leaves an impression due to its’ interactivity - how it shyly folds upon being touched. Touch-me-not is a series of illustration, which attempts to create tension between memory and touch.

Mimosa here, takes on a form which evokes familiarity and unlike the fixed impression we have of the plant, the experience this work provides is not one we encounter daily but rather, as a memory in an attempt to bring back this childhood wonder.
